Privacy policy

Draft for legal review before launch. This page explains what Gameztown stores and why.

What we store

A player id, your player name, level, coins, scores, achievements and game saves. If you create an account we also store your email, a hashed password and your birth year. We store a one-way hash of your IP address at sign-up to stop referral fraud.

Ads

Gameztown shows ads from Google to keep games free. Google may use cookies to show ads. Players under 13 only see non-personalised ads. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Children

Accounts for players under 13 run in safe mode: names cannot be changed and ads are not personalised. Parents can ask us to delete a child's data at hello@gameztown.com.

Your choices

Signed-in players can download or delete their data from the profile page at any time.
